THE DESIGNER

Sherine El Garhy is an Egyptian jewellery designer and founder of Sherine Jewellery.

Trained in Egypt’s jewellery quarter, Khan el-Khalili, and the Jewellery Technology Center, Sherine has a background in jewellery design and a passion for the creation of beautiful things.

Influenced by voyages abroad and the variety of cultural beauty standards across the globe, Sherine launched her label with the inner power and natural beauty of women at its forefront. Founded on originality, rare yet gentle designs and delicate craftsmanship, Sherine believes in making exquisite sophisticated pieces for modern women of all backgrounds.

“It’s a fascinating phenomenon the effect a culture has on a woman’s style, the way she perceives beauty and shows that beauty to the world. Travelling has enabled me to see first-hand the richness and diversity of cultures. I was equally fascinated by the designs that made each place unique, from the colors to the way a woman care chooses her adornments to match her surroundings. Having Egyptian and Greek origins has guided me in many ways.”

THE BRAND

Sherine Jewellery is a fine jewellery brand born and based in Cairo founded by Sherine El Garhy.

The brand’s inspiration for its high-quality, one-of-a-kind pieces comes from the desire to modernize ancient designs, whether Egyptian or Greek. The brand continuously celebrates originality and femininity through each collection. Each born with a story of its own, every compilation is always inspired by a new romantic notion, from the smoothness of pebbles on a seashore to the delicacy of flower petals.

Sherine Jewellery is sold online exclusively in Egypt and has been showcased in numerous hotels and boutiques such as Sofitel Marrakech, Royal Palm Marrakech and Sofitel Agadir.

THE CRAFTSMANSHIP

All Sherine Jewellery pieces are designed and hand-crafted in Cairo using the finest 925 silver and gold-plated sterling silver by the designer herself.
